ABOUT
Hi! I’m Lavanya, a dedicated communication designer working at the intersection of storytelling, strategy and creativity. My practice focuses on using design as a way to make complex ideas more accessible, actionable and exciting; and leaving an emotional resonance with the audience after the experience of using a product, consuming media, etc.
As a designer, I enjoy building design systems across full lifecycles– from defining strategy, developing prototypes and curating campaigns. Currently, I am also exploring photography, interactive media like creative coding and game design, and various new AI tools to expand my toolkit and push the boundaries of my practice. I also enjoy working with editorials, especially those with a potential for multimedia.
Beyond design, I love programming and have been a part of AIGA TNS, Making Space and more! When I’m not at my laptop, you’ll find me deep into my Spotify, reorganizing, sipping on a fun beverage, napping, or yapping.
