While many young adults and first-time investors are interested in participating in capital markets, they often disengage due to structural complexity, information overload, and behavioral biases such as loss aversion and herd mentality.

Fear of investing does not stem from a lack of motivation or intelligence, but from the way financial systems and education are currently designed.

Pocket It is a gamified financial literacy platform that helps users identify the origins of their investing anxiety and build confidence through personalized, interactive experiences.

Together, these pathways reframe financial literacy as a continuous, supported ecosystem. Improving financial confidence requires first helping users recognize and locate their fear, rather than attempting to simply educate it away.



Supported by iterative prototyping, user testing, and a documented research archive, this work positions financial confidence as a designed outcome to transform investing from an intimidating system into something accessible, dependable and objective.
